Custom Roll Form Tooling

At Comet Roll & Machine Co., we provide custom tooling services for flat rolling and profile rolls, and can also rebuild, retrofit and refurbish your old or used roll form tooling dies. We can produce tooling for rolls from 1" to 36" in diameter, with a width of 48", for sheet metal thickness of 0.005" to 0.057". Our tooling works with both concave profiles and convex profiles, and we provide CAD design, engineering, inspection, and technical support service to recommend feed and speed configurations.

The tool materials that we work with include D-2, carbide, cast iron, cobalt, HSS, tungsten carbide, and heat treated steel alloys. We also work with non-metals, offering non-marking rubber and urethane coated rollers. We can provide high-speed tooling, with thru-hole coolant/lubricant. Just a few tube material applications include alloy steels, aluminum, Monel, nickel, tin, stainless steel, and zinc.
