Leer Metal Door Panels | | With a strong reputation for providing excellent sheet metal forming operations, Comet Roll & Machine was contracted by a client from the refrigeration industry to produce a series of duplex panels that would be employed as outer cabinet panels for self-serve freezers. Maintaining a (±) .010 of an inch tolerance, we manufactured our customer's units using our advanced dual head rollformer with digital head positioning technology. This innovative machine is commonly used for the production of a wide variety of products, including, but not limited to, HVAC ductwork, store fixtures and shelving, garage doors, and office furniture. Based on a customer supplied print, the panels were constructed from a combination of stucco embossed, galvanized cold roll steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, and measured anywhere between 5 to 60 inches in width, 18 to 96 inches in length, and .560 of an inch in height. They also possessed a material thickness measuring between .024 to .045 of an inch. After manufacturing was complete, we then provided the dual panels with a bare metal, prepainted metal, or PVC coated stainless steel finish. Meeting client specifications, we shipped the completed products to our client's facility in New Lisbon, Wisconsin.
