CNC Turning

Serving industries from transportation to electronics to packaging/converting clients, Comet Roll & Machine Co. provides CNC turning services for all component and industrial applications. We feature 3-axis machinery with live tooling capabilities and three-jaw and four-jaw chucks. Our machines have a 31″ chucking capacity, with up to 96″ between centers, and a lifting/work piece capacity of up to 2000 lbs. We offer all types of turning processes, with in-house fixturing and tooling services. Just a few are: threading, knurling, boring, pocketing, profiling, gear blanking, and facing.

As part of our focus on providing precision, quality parts to our customers, our machines are capable of tight tolerances to +/- 0.0001″ along straightness, concentricity, diameters and length. We work with materials including stainless steel, alloys, carbon steel, carbide, stellite, brass, and bronze. We offer short lead times and emergency rush services when required, and will manufacture in any quantity, from prototype to production. We accept part drawings and information in all file formats, including .dxf, AutoCAD, STEP, TIFF, TurboCAD, and IGES, as well as all common image formats.
